House Manager

SIGN ON BONUS: $1,000 *candidates that successfully complete training and pass all background checks, with no company violations and absences within the 90-day probationary period.

Pay Range: $28.00 -$32.00 hourly

•  Responsible for assisting with the planning, organization, staffing, directing, managing and evaluating of the services provided.
•  Responsible for administrative duties as assigned by the CEO and/or Program Manager
•  Responsible for the supervision of direct support staff.
•  Responsible for the implementation of the programs and services offered by the facility
•  Responsible for maintaining public relations with referral agencies, state departments or other outside resources
•  Responsible for providing supports in assessing the effectiveness of the organizational structure and overall program standards
•  Responsible for scheduling and providing the transportation schedule for individuals to include medical appointment, grocery shopping, and community activities
•  Responsible for participating in support and development activities to enhance knowledge and skills
•  Responsible for performing other appropriate tasks as necessary for the effective operation of the program.

Medical Facilitation

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To support managers in the homes with full compliance of the medication processes and scheduled appointments.

This employee will be responsible for the following:MONTHLY
•  Completing audits of medications for completeness in following the five rights (Ensuring medications are current and not passed their expiration dates, ensuring labels are replaced when no longer legible, ensuring all required medications are present and in the correctly labeled box, etc.)
•  Auditing the First aid kit and Emergency kit monthly
•  Facilitating physicians orders being signed for dispensing every 6 months and as needed as they are prescribed for new conditions
WEEKLY
•  Reviewing medical books weekly
•  Ensuring proper placement of all medications (i.e. Narcotics, creams, regular scheduled meds in correct place and secured behind one or double locks as required)
DAILY
•  Completing medication consultation sheet overviews for each medical appointment
•  Transporting clients to and from medical appointments
•  Scheduling medical appointments with offices and documenting them using the Therap Appointments module
•  Scheduling physicals, dental/gum checks, eye exams etc. annually according to licensing regulations
•  Printing MAR sheets and Physicians orders for all residents by the 5th of each month
•  Reordering medications and corresponding with the pharmacy as needed
•  Reviewing QuickMAR for medication errors daily and facilitating GERs for each error; interviewing staff on events to support them properly completing paperwork where required
•  Disposing of medications as required once completed
•  Disposing of sharps containers once full
