Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures to ensure a spotless environment
• Execute detailed floor cleaning tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying appropriate floor care techniques to maintain surface quality
• Manage laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
• Use cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively while adhering to all sanitation standards and protocols
• Implement janitorial and custodial procedures to uphold cleanliness across all designated spaces
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on cleaning progress, and ensure satisfaction with services rendered
• Maintain organized supplies inventory and ensure all cleaning tools are properly maintained for optimal performance
• Perform outdoor work when necessary, including patio or porch cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance

Experience

• Proven experience in residential housekeeping or commercial cleaning environments demonstrating strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, carpet cleaning, floor maintenance, and sanitation procedures
• Hands-on experience with various cleaning equipment, detergents, and floor care products
• Knowledge of janitorial practices, custodial responsibilities, and proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during scheduled shifts
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Previous outdoor work experience is a plus but not required; willingness to perform outdoor cleaning tasks as needed
