Prep Cook

As a Zuma Prep Cook, you are responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting with various food preparation tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen. You will collaborate closely with the kitchen team to uphold Zuma's standards of excellence and deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning vegetables, meats, and seafood
• Prepare sauces, dressings, and marinades according to Zuma's recipes and standards
• Assist with the assembly and production of menu items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas

• A natural team player who is at home working in sync with a large team
• Naturally friendly, customer-oriented, and skilled at creating memorable dining experiences
• Previous experience as a Prep Cook or similar role in a high-volume restaurant environment
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills and culinary fundamentals
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
