We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Business Administrator to join our team at the company’s Headquarters in the Village, Meridian. This position will play a key role in supporting our payroll and HR functions, as well as assisting with miscellaneous business projects to ensure smooth daily operations. You will work closely with leadership to help manage people processes, maintain compliance, and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and employee benefits administration
- Support HR initiatives including employee engagement, performance tracking, and policy updates
- Coordinate with managers to track labor budgets and staffing needs
- Prepare reports on payroll, HR, and operational metrics
- Assist with licensing, permits, and other business compliance tasks
- Help coordinate and track miscellaneous business projects and deadlines
- Provide administrative support to leadership and department heads as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and employee information.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field preferred
- 1-3 years’ experience in business administration, payroll, or HR support
- knowledge of payroll regulations
- knowledge of HR practices, compliance, and employment law basics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Word, Excel, Sheets, etc.)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
- Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus
Job Type: Full time available
