Amazon Listing Optimization Specialist

Zulay Kitchen is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Amazon Listing Optimization Specialist to improve the performance and conversion rate of our Amazon product listings.

This person will be responsible for monitoring listing performance, identifying opportunities, recommending improvements, coordinating updates, and measuring the results. The role will cover listing images, copy, A Content, variation themes, product swatches, and the overall customer experience on each product detail page.

The ideal candidate combines strong Amazon Seller Central knowledge with conversion-rate optimization, data analysis, copywriting, and visual merchandising skills.
 

Key Responsibilities

Conversion Tracking and Analysis

* Monitor listing conversion rate, traffic and other key performance indicators.

* Track Unit Session Percentage and related performance metrics at the ASIN and parent-child levels.

* Investigate potential causes of poor conversion, including images, copy, pricing, reviews and variation structure..

* Maintain a clear optimization tracker documenting proposed changes, implementation dates, and results.

* Provide regular reports summarizing performance, findings, completed updates, and recommended next steps.

Listing Images and Creative Optimization

* Review main images, secondary images, infographics, lifestyle images, comparison charts, and product videos.

* Recommend specific creative changes designed to increase click-through and conversion rates.

* Prepare clear briefs for photographers, graphic designers, and other creative partners.

* Evaluate whether listing images effectively communicate product benefits, features, dimensions, use cases, and competitive advantages.

* Review competitor listings and category trends to identify opportunities.

* Ensure creative recommendations follow Amazon’s image and listing policies.

* Track image changes and measure their impact after implementation.

* Use Amazon’s testing tools, when available, to compare creative options and validate improvements.

Listing Copy and SEO

* Review and propose updates to product titles, bullet points, product descriptions, backend search terms, and A Content.

* Improve copy for clarity, persuasion, keyword relevance, and mobile readability.

* Ensure copy accurately reflects the product and addresses common customer questions and objections.

* Incorporate relevant keywords naturally without reducing readability or violating Amazon policies.

* Coordinate approved copy updates and verify that changes display correctly on the live listing.

* Monitor the performance of copy updates and recommend additional improvements when needed.
 

Listing Layout and Variation Management

* Review parent-child relationships, variation themes, color names, size options, and product swatches.

* Recommend the most customer-friendly way to organize variations.

* Identify broken, confusing, duplicated, or incorrectly grouped variations.

* Ensure variation recommendations comply with Amazon category and variation policies.

* Coordinate listing updates through Seller Central, flat files, or internal teams.

* Verify that titles, images, swatches, pricing, and product details appear correctly for each child ASIN.

* Monitor listings after updates for suppressed content, broken relationships, or unexpected changes.

Key Performance Indicators

Success in this position will be measured through:

* Improvement in Unit Session Percentage and listing conversion rate on keywords.

* Improvement in click-through rate where measurable.

* Number and quality of completed listing optimizations.

* Successful completion of listing tests.

Qualifications

* Experience managing or optimizing Amazon listings through Seller Central.

* Strong understanding of Amazon conversion-rate optimization.

* Experience analyzing Business Reports and ASIN-level performance data.

* Knowledge of Amazon listing requirements, variation policies, and image guidelines.

* Ability to evaluate listing images from both a creative and conversion perspective.

* Strong product copywriting and editing skills.

* Excellent attention to detail, particularly across large product catalogs..
