Production Artist
Production Artists at our agency are experts in optimizing production files from artwork and approved design files, client supplied artwork/dielines, brand guidelines and the project brief to ensure brand consistency, optimal brand color application and design refinement in compliance with all technical printing requirements.

· An established (since 2007) design/marketing agency with highly creative professionals based in Hainesport, NJ. Our offices are away from frustrating traffic congestion and close to major highways for easy office access.
· Our creativity mostly serves marketing needs for the consumer-packaged goods industry - mainly food, snacks and confections.
· Most of our work is focused on packaging, retail displays, and media/influencer kits.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Attention to detail & superior organizational skills.
· Knowledge of CMYK, RGB color specs, proofing, print production and digital media.
· Mix of both creative and technical skills to create a finished product that meets client goals and meets the quality standards of the ZIA brand.
· Ability to collaborate with graphic designers to execute final creative vision.
· Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat).
· Strong typography skills demonstrating close attention to details such as size, message hierarchy, kerning and leading.
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated and adaptable to change.
· Experience in Packaging and/or FDA food labeling guidelines is a plus.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for preparing print-ready files for various types of printing processes and/or digital media.
· Technical know-how of various printing processes (offset, lithography, digital, gravure, screen and flexo).
· Provide image retouching, clipping paths and additional image manipulation including adjusting color balance, size, and resolution to ensure that images are of the highest possible quality.
· Follow development timelines to ensure tasks and projects are completed on time.
· Troubleshoot problems with designers and printers to find solutions.
· Responsible for the accuracy and quality of a file.
· Packaging, point of sale & display artwork.
· Provide organized, clean artwork to prepress technicians and printers with correct print annotations/attributes.
· File collection, packaging, and pre-flight files for release.
· Archive management.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
