Zuber Gardner CPAs Inc., a tax and advisory public accounting firm located in Independence, OH, provides accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse roster of business and individual clients. We are currently seeking a hands-on, self-starting tax professional with 5 years of recent public accounting experience for an important role leading tax and accounting engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Tax Preparation – Prepare individual, corporate, partnership and trust & estate tax returns
- Accounting Services – Lead engagements throughout all phases of accounting including tax research, projections and year-end planning
- Client Services - Build existing client relationships and work collaboratively with our clients and tax team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA license or EA designation preferred
- 5 years of recent public accounting tax experience progressing in scope and responsibility
- Ability to effectively perform tax research and communicate findings
- Strong organization, communication, analytical, client service, leadership and PC skills including Microsoft Office, QuickBooks Online & tax software proficiency (UltraTax proficiency is a plus)
- Attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
