Vice President of Fleet Operations

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Fleet Operations to lead our Cincinnati operation, with full accountability for fleet performance, operational execution, financial outcomes, and team leadership.

- Oversee all fleet and operational activities for the Cincinnati market
- Maintain full ownership of P&L performance and financial results
- Recruit, lead, coach, and develop employees and independent contractors
- Ensure fleet readiness through preventive maintenance, asset management, and operational efficiency
- Drive safety, compliance, and regulatory adherence across all operations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, city officials, and community partners
- Leverage KPIs, data, and performance metrics to guide decisions and continuous improvement
- Develop and manage the annual operating budget with a strong focus on cost control and optimization
- Support contract negotiations, renewals, and new business development efforts
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, reliability, and service excellence
- Partner with Human Resources on workforce planning, engagement, and talent development initiatives
- 5–10 years of senior leadership experience in fleet operations, transportation, operations, or general management
- Demonstrated success managing full P&L responsibility
- Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Proven ability to develop high‑performing teams and drive operational discipline
- Strategic and analytical thinker with a focus on efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement
