We’re looking for a Transport Dispatcher to join our dynamic operations team in Fort Collins, CO. In this essential role, you’ll coordinate daily transportation activity, support drivers, and ensure every trip runs smoothly—from scheduling to completion.
What You’ll Do As a Transport Dispatcher
- Schedule and assign trips based on driver availability, location, and customer demand
- Monitor fleet activity in real time to maintain on-time performance and quickly address service issues
- Communicate route details, updates, and scheduling changes clearly and professionally
- Maintain accurate logs of routes, vehicle assignments, and trip coordination
- Work closely with operations and dispatch teams to improve efficiency and service quality
- Handle unexpected delays or challenges with calm, solution-focused professionalism
- Experience in transportation dispatch, scheduling, operations, or logistics (preferred)
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to stay composed and efficient in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Familiarity with dispatch systems, GPS tracking, or routing software (a plus)
- Valid driver’s license required
