What You'll Do as a Driver Operations Coordinator:

Driver Support & Onboarding

• Serve as a key resource for drivers regarding operational and administrative needs.
• Guide new drivers through onboarding and orientation processes.
• Assist with completing and processing required documentation.
• Provide timely support and ensure drivers receive accurate information.
• Foster a positive and professional experience throughout the driver lifecycle.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain accurate driver files, records, and operational documentation.
• Track license expirations, permits, certifications, and other compliance requirements.
• Conduct routine record audits to ensure company standards are met.
• Update and manage driver information within internal systems.
• Support compliance programs and record retention initiatives.

Operational Administration

• Assist with scheduling appointments, orientations, training sessions, and meetings.
• Support daily operations through data entry, reporting, and administrative coordination.
• Collaborate with recruiting, dispatch, and leadership teams to maintain operational efficiency.
• Prepare reports and maintain tracking systems that support business operations.
• Help identify and implement process improvements.

Communication & Engagement

• Build strong working relationships with drivers and internal departments.
• Communicate company announcements, procedural updates, and operational information.
• Assist with resolving routine concerns and escalating issues when appropriate.
• Support driver engagement efforts that promote retention and satisfaction.
• Contribute to a positive, driver-focused culture.

Reporting & Process Improvement

• Generate reports related to onboarding, compliance, and operational metrics.
• Maintain spreadsheets, databases, and tracking tools.
• Provide accurate information to support organizational planning and decision-making.
• Assist with workforce coordination and departmental initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement efforts through effective recordkeeping and reporting.

Qualifications of a Driver Operations Coordinator:

Preferred Experience

• Experience in administrative support, customer service, operations, transportation, logistics, recruiting, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
