Position Overview

As a Mobility Services Driver, you will provide safe, reliable transportation for passengers traveling to medical appointments, work, school, shopping centers, and other important destinations. You will assist passengers with mobility needs while ensuring every trip is completed with professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities of a Mobility Services Driver:

Passenger Transportation

• Safely transport passengers to scheduled destinations in accordance with company policies and traffic regulations.
• Arrive on time and maintain assigned schedules and routes.
• Provide a comfortable and secure transportation experience for all passengers.
• Assist with passenger boarding and exiting when needed.

Passenger Assistance

• Secure wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility equipment properly.
• Provide courteous assistance to passengers with accessibility or mobility needs.
• Maintain a patient, professional, and respectful approach during every interaction.
• Ensure passengers feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout their trip.

Vehicle Care & Safety

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle appearance.
• Report maintenance issues, vehicle concerns, or safety hazards promptly.
• Follow all company safety standards and operating procedures.

Communication & Documentation

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, passengers, and team members.
• Complete trip logs, reports, and required documentation accurately.
• Report service concerns, incidents, or operational issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain professionalism when handling passenger questions and requests.

Customer Service Excellence

• Deliver outstanding customer service during every trip.
• Treat passengers with dignity, respect, and compassion.
• Build positive relationships through dependable and professional service.
• Represent zTrip's commitment to safety and service excellence.

Qualifications of a Mobility Services Driver:

Required

• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
• Commitment to passenger safety and professionalism.
• Ability to assist passengers with mobility equipment as needed.

Preferred

• Experience in transportation, customer service, healthcare, caregiving, hospitality, or related fields.
• Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or passengers requiring additional assistance.
• Professional driving experience is a plus.
• No mobility transportation experience required. Paid training provided.
