Position: Veeva Data Migration Technical Lead Position Type: Full-time Location: Summit, NJ 
Salary Range: $160,000-$190,000 per year

Job Description   
Must Have Technical/Functional Skill 
Veeva Vault Data Migration Experience:

• Hands-on  end-to-end" Veeva data migration experience on large data sets (>500K records).

• Experience of using Vault Loader, Custom Migration Tool etc.

• Experience in data migration using Veeva API 

• Expertise on  Veeva Object Record  Migration and  Veeva Document  Migration

• Expert knowledge of the Veeva data model, including documents, records, and metadata.

• Experience with data mapping and transformation exercises from existing data sources to Veeva Vault structure.

• Experience in strategizing data migration, data verification, etc. from source to Veeva system.

• Proven ability to develop Cutover and rollback strategies for Data Migration

• Commanding data analysis capability.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving data migration issues and discrepancies.

• In-depth understanding & knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools for effective data migration.

• Strong experience with Veeva Vault configuration and implementation.

• Must have clear understanding of Veeva Vault Architecture & Security model

• Must have  technical hands-on  experience to lead the Data Migration as  Technical Lead 

 Preferred Skills:

• First-hand experience of working with Veeva Vault Quality

• Experience with Quality Management processes in the life sciences/CPG industry

• Experience with Java or Python to develop custom scripts for data migration activities

 Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end data migration 

• Develop Data Migration Strategy

• Develop Cutover strategy

• Finalize source-to-target mapping and transformation

• Lead code development and scripting as necessary to facilitate data migration.

• Create and manage progress trackers for all data migration-related activities and stages. 

• Develop and document a standard data migration approach working with the architecture and project/program management team. 

• Coordinate and facilitate development and validation efforts for data transformation and loading, ensuring successful data migration.

• Creation of technical documentation as per the customer's SDLC process and following up on reviews and approvals for the same.
