Principal SDET – Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a Principal SDET with a strong software development background, preferably someone who started their career in UI/Front-End Development and later transitioned into Software Development in Test (SDET).
Key Requirements:
- Strong background in Front-End/UI Development (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
- Proven experience transitioning from development to test automation.
- Deep expertise in Playwright for end-to-end UI automation testing.
- Hands-on experience designing and building scalable automation frameworks.
- Strong coding skills with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable test code.
- Experience testing modern web applications and working closely with engineering teams.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, test strategy, and quality engineering best practices.
- Ability to mentor engineers and drive automation initiatives across teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Started career as a UI/Front-End Developer and later moved into an SDET/Automation Engineering role.
- Strong focus on front-end testing and automation.
- Expert-level experience with Playwright and modern web testing practices.
