Outage Management System Administrator

• Understands OMS architecture and security. Knowledge of OSI OMS architecture is preferred.
• Understanding of Field mobility and Switching Management for utility distribution network. Knowledge of OSI Compass module is preferred
• Strong knowledge of OSI Compass Mobile, OSI Outage Management System (OMS) application, and Knowledge of OSI Distribution Management System is preferred.
• Understanding of Network model management from GIS
• Experience working in Transmission and Distribution domain of Utilities
• Knowledge on Linux Administration, C#
• Understanding of integration technologies used in SCADA/OMS/DMS space.
• Working knowledge of Software development methodologies like waterfall, Agile
• Work with Business to understand functional issues and solve the same by providing workaround
• Application and database health checks on regular basis

• Maintain the Outage Management System mobile application, monitor its services and Integration Performing routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades.
• Support OSI compass Application for L1 and L2 incidents. Resolution to support tickets within specified SLA
• Provide timely incident resolution
• Should be able to carry out Configuration changes, deploy the changes, deploy the bug fixes in coordination with product vendor
• Coordinate with business to fix the OSI Compass reported issues
• Coordination with GIS team and sort out Data issues
• Support minor enhancements using Open Calc in OSI Application
• Implement monitoring techniques for quick problem identification
• Interactions with other stakeholders and provide daily reports
• Ensuring systems and procedures adhere to industry standards and regulations, such as NERC for electric utilities.
• Ability to understand Business requirement and Business Requirements mapping to functional design
• Ability to validate alignment of Data, Integration and test requirements
• Strong Understanding of Network Topology requirements
• Troubleshooting system malfunctions and communication issues.
• Ensuring system reliability, security, and performance
• Ability to work in an Onshore/Offshore global delivery model

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Should be able to tackle frequen t workplace problems by identifying root causes and finding the best course of action
