Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team, working alongside
Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts with precision and creativity
- Decorate cakes and pastries using advanced cake decorating techniques to ensure visual appeal
- Package baked goods for retail or catering purposes, maintaining quality standards
- Assist in food production and food handling processes in accordance with safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing menu items
- Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards
- Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge and addressing customer inquiries
- Support catering events or restaurant operations as needed, including setup and breakdown
Experience
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry
- Strong skills in cake decorating, baking, and food presentation
- Experience with food production, food handling, and kitchen safety protocols
- Knowledge of culinary techniques including knife skills, cooking methods, and baking processes
- Background in catering or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with packaging baked goods for retail or event purposes
- Prior experience in customer service within a culinary setting is advantageous
