Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Crew Members to join our Bakery and Deli team. Duties
- Prepare and assemble bakery items, deli sandwiches, and other food products according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing
- Assist customers with selections, answer questions about products, and provide exceptional customer service
- Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling, bussing tables, and cleaning equipment
- Ensure proper food safety practices are followed at all times in accordance with health regulations
- Restock shelves, display cases, and ensure product freshness throughout shifts
- Manage basic math for cash transactions, inventory counts, and retail math calculations
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or quick-service restaurants is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cashiering, inventory management, and retail transactions
- Experience working in a café, bakery, deli, grocery store, or retail setting is beneficial
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic setting
