Ability to pass drug and background screenings is a MUST.

Facial Hair and Respirator Requirement: Proper PPE is required to be worn by all employees in required areas. PPE may include the use of Facial Respirators for Operators. Per OSHA Respiratory Protection standard, paragraph 29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A), respirators shall not be worn when facial hair comes between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interferes with valve function. Facial hair is allowed as long as it does not protrude under the respirator seal, or extend far enough to interfere with the device's valve function. Short mustaches, sideburns, and small goatees that are neatly trimmed so that no hair compromises the seal of the respirator usually do not present a hazard and, therefore, do not violate paragraph 1910.134(g)(1)(i).

General Summary:

The Bulk Shipping Operator will be trained in basic operations functions for loading and unloading of Tank Trucks as well as unloading of Railcars. The operations include loading, unloading, breaking down/buttoning up railcars, and filling out the necessary paperwork and Chempax transactions to ensure proper receipt or shipment of material.

The main goal is to ensure that both Ivey and Milledgeville have raw materials in time to produce batches on schedule.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

· Qualified as a General Operator

· Transfer railcars to bulk/totes.

· Complete hose inspections

· Transloads from railcars to tankers

· Breaking into/buttoning up railcars

· Loading trucks from bulk, totes

· Unloading trucks to bulk or totes.

· Receive PO’s with the scan gun

· Apply steam to railcars/tankers when needed

· Complete Loading and Unloading checklists

· Fill out railcar paperwork

· Operate and inspect the Carbis unit.

· Inspect trailers before loading or unloading

· Document loads in cargo snap.

· Sample products before transfers

· Other duties as assigned by supervisors

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Travel by car, air or other method when necessary to visit other sites
• Should be able to drive forklift and warehouse related rolling stocks
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift 50 lbs. for 30% of the time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
