The Mobile team at Zscaler develops a cross-platform client application for MacOS and IOS, to securely steer endpoint traffic to Zscaler cloud.

Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced Mac/iOS Developer to join our Endpoint Engineering team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:

• Developing both MAC & iOS applications and frameworks
• Working with product managers to translate the product requirements to technical requirements, and in turn translate designs and mockups into high-quality code
• Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Helping maintain code quality, coding standards and automation
• Troubleshooting and resolving customer escalations
  
  
  

What We're Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

• 7 years of experience in Objective C/SWIFT/C
• Experience in Mac networking stack and networking protocols and knowledge of design principles, patterns and best practices
• Experience with RESTful APIs, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Knowledge of the Mac/iOS ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
  
  
  

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Network stack development experience, specifically for VPN client type applications
• You will have worked on a VPN or ZTNA client application and understand the intricacies of multi-platform client apps
• Experience with PKI and network security technologies or familiarity with cloud message APIs and Apple Push Notifications
  
  
  

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) benefits.

Base Pay Range

$154,000 - $220,000 USD
