Key Responsibilities
Network Services Architecture
- Develop enterprise architecture for DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and related services
- Build reference architectures, standards, design patterns, and implementation guidelines
- Design scalable, resilient, secure Network Services solutions for global environments
- Define standards for address allocation, name resolution, resiliency, and lifecycle planning
- Evaluate technologies for scalability, security, and operational effectiveness
- Partner with Engineering to ensure architectures are practical and supportable
LAN/WAN Architecture
- Create high‑level designs for LAN, WAN, routing, switching, SD‑WAN
- Integrate Network Services into broader network designs
- Participate in technology evaluations, PoCs, and architecture assessments
- Contribute to enterprise network standards and reference designs
Engineering Standards & Compliance
- Develop LLD templates, golden configs, and configuration standards
- Translate architecture into repeatable engineering solutions
- Validate implementations against approved standards and designs
- Conduct architecture compliance reviews and document exceptions
- Establish feedback loops between Architecture and Engineering
Technical Leadership
- Own Network Services and LAN/WAN architecture deliverables
- Review engineering designs and provide architectural guidance
- Mentor engineers and share technical expertise
- Create Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and maintain documentation
- Collaborate with Wireless, Security, Cloud, Desktop, and other architects
- Work with vendors and technology partners
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands‑on experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, LAN/WAN, routing, switching
- CCIE required
- Infoblox DDIP preferred
- Deep knowledge of:
- DNS, DHCP, IPAM
- Enterprise LAN/WAN/SD‑WAN
- BGP, OSPF
- IPv4/IPv6
- Network resiliency, HA, security principles
- Experience developing standards, HLDs/LLDs, and design documentation
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
