Client Accounting Team Client Accounting was formed six years ago to help with the ASC 606 implementation and today is responsible for end-to-end project lifecycle work and project financial governance. This individual will join the existing team and continue to build on progress within the space.
Finance Associate- Client Accounting
What you'll do:
Client Accounting is responsible for end-to-end project lifecycle work and project financial governance. This role will report into the Client Accounting Specialist and will work closely the existing teammates along with Controllership, Finance Business Partners and our Finance Systems team.

Finance Associate- Client Accounting
What you'll do:
Client Accounting is responsible for end-to-end project lifecycle work and project financial governance. This role will report into the Client Accounting Specialist and will work closely the existing teammates along with Controllership, Finance Business Partners and our Finance Systems team.
- Support ZS’s largest, most at-risk projects throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage revenue recognition including forecast/completion estimates, and margins at a project level and ensure accuracy of revenue portion of ZS financial statements
- Focus on pricing reviews, project setup, project forecasting, and analysis on project financial decisions
- Collaborate with others within finance to find solutions to at-risk projects, provide project commentary and flag to leadership if necessary
- Leverage others including our offshore Client Accounting team, FBPs, and Controllership to help escalate and solve for project financial risks
- Ensure project financial transactions including billings and collections are maintained
- Preform monthly governance workstreams to support accounting output, both at project and company level
- Contribute to new processes, employ new technologies, and create governance around our revenue recognition policy
- Collaborate with others in finance on special projects
- BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area
- 0-2 years relevant work experience, preferably in public accounting, corporate accounting, or project financial management
- Individual must be proactive, a self-starter, capable of participating/implementing process changes
- Effective at collaborating cross-functionally/geographically
- Excellent communication skills

- Proven judgment and decision-making abilities
- Fluency in English
