ZS's R&D Excellence Practice brings together experts in Strategy, Clinical Execution, Data Sciences and Technology to empower client organizations to achieve their passion for patient care, science and business success. Through our “Lifecycle Evidence Strategy”, “Clinical Trial Optimization”, “Medical Affairs” and “Evidence Generation” services, we deliver impact where it matters, from early drug development to commercialization. This role will be aligned with the ZS R&D Excellence Practice Area supporting our Evidence Generation (including Real World Evidence and HEOR) services across multiple clients.
Evidence Generation Principal
We are looking for a key Evidence Generation leader with strong background in the space and a strong network of relationships. The focus will be to drive the development and growth of this service line.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with life sciences and biotech organizations to develop and execute data-driven strategies across the product lifecycle, from R&D to commercialization
- Catalyze real-world data and evidence initiatives, enabling clients to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Lead large-scale RWD and Evidence Generation projects leveraging data science and advanced analytics services to support better patient outcomes and accelerate drug discovery and development
- Lead business development including presenting capabilities, drafting proposals, performing competitive market research, and participating in marketing initiatives (such as generating marketing content, creating webinars, being a conference speaker, etc.)
- Cultivate high-performing teams, identifying and developing future leaders in data science and analyticsevidence strategy, analytics, and scientific communication. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Build and manage project teams (on-shore off-shore) in the design, development, and delivery of client deliverables with focus on growth regions across the US
- Provide scientific and methodological direction for observational research, retrospective and prospective RWE generation
- Supervise execution of projects within a matrix environment, including coordinating project activities, participating in client-facing project meetings, providing guidance and leadership when analyzing research findings, developing results presentations and recommendations, and validating Evidence deliverables
- Innovate and assist in the development of high-quality client deliverables in a timely manner such as presentation slide decks, technical reports, briefing books, conference abstracts, and manuscripts for publication
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business or Life Sciences.
- MBA or Advanced Degree is highly desirable.
- 15 years’ experience in life science industry management consulting particularly in the Evidence Generation space
- 7 years’ experience in a leadership role within a professional service firm.
- Experience cultivating and partnering with stakeholders across all levels of the Medical Affairs organization
- Ability to develop relationships both with external client and internal stakeholders
- Previous experience leading consulting teams on Evidence projects and working with clients' Medical Affairs/Evidence teams
- Demonstrated experience with driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the "C" level
- Fluency in English is required
