ZS Architectural Engineering is seeking a licensed Structural Engineer (PE) to join our growing team. This opportunity is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on technical work, wants exposure to a wide variety of structural projects, and is looking for a long-term growth path into senior engineering, client management, and future leadership opportunities.
Unlike firms where engineers spend years working on the same type of project, our team works across new construction, renovations, existing building investigations, construction engineering, specialty structural services, inspections, digital modeling technologies, and building lifecycle projects.

What You'll Do
- Perform structural analysis and design for new and existing buildings
- Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
- Review and stamp engineering documents as required
- Participate in building assessments, inspections, and field investigations
- Support renovation, rehabilitation, and addition projects
- Perform quality control and quality assurance reviews
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, owners, and engineering teams
- Participate in site visits and project meetings
- Work across projects from initial concept through construction completion
What We're Looking For
Requirements
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 6-10 years of structural engineering experience
- Experience designing building structures
- Strong technical engineering and problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently perform structural design work
Preferred
- Structural Engineer (SE) license
- Experience with renovations, additions, and existing buildings
- Building inspection or assessment experience
- Construction engineering / means and methods experience
- Revit experience
- AutoCAD experience
- Experience using structural analysis software such as:
- RISA
- RAM Structural System
- SAP2000
- Similar structural design platforms
