What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor position at ZRS Management?
Job Description:
The Maintenance Supervisor position is crucial in upholding ZRS MANAGEMENT's corporate philosophy. This role focuses on delivering skilled, efficient, and professional service to residents.
This position reports directly to the Property Manager and encompasses various responsibilities including:
- Prompt and efficient service calls in accordance with our service policy
- Scheduling of all apartment turns and vacant units within three to five business days
- Performing light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry repairs
- Maintaining common areas through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows, pressure washing, etc.
- Efficiently maintaining maintenance shops in a safe and organized manner
- Training other maintenance employees
- Collaborating with the Property Manager to establish a Preventive Maintenance Program
This role also involves:
- Inspecting and approving work from outside contractors
- Ensuring proper insurance requirements prior to hiring contractors
- Taking a leadership role in maintaining and enhancing the property's aesthetic appeal
- Assisting in implementing and adhering to maintenance standards
- Supporting other ZRS MANAGEMENT properties as needed and requested by the Property Manager
The successful candidate will possess:
- Effective time management skills and attention to detail
- Maintenance experience and knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances
- Ability to communicate clearly with residents
