Project Recruit's sister company ZR Per Diem Services, is a leader in the legal services industry, providing court and deposition coverage to attorneys and law firms throughout New York and New Jersey. Due to increased volume and a return to in-person court appearances, ZRPD is looking for per diem attorneys to make both court and non-court appearances in every county in New York and New Jersey.
High Volume NY counties include: Nassau, Suffolk, New York, Kings, Queens, Bronx, & Richmond Counties.
Other High Volume NY counties: Westchester, Rockland & Greater Hudson Valley
Description
- You will be appearing on behalf of our attorney clients, providing of-counsel representation on various types of appearances.
- Courts covered are Supreme, Civil, Surrogates, Housing, Foreclosure Family, Criminal, and others. Types of appearances include conferences, motions, hearings. depositions, EUOs, 50Hs, independent medical examinations, real estate closings, arbitration appearances, and more.
- Areas of law include Personal Injury, No-fault, Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Commercial Litigation, Real Estate, Malpractice, Immigration, Surrogates, Family/Matrimonial, Criminal and more.
- Our easy-to-use online portal system allows you the freedom to create an individualized work schedule based upon your personal commitments, areas of expertise, and coverage areas.
Requirements
- Ability to appear In-Person for court appearances, depositions & other legal proceedings
- Admitted in New York and/or New Jersey to practice law as an attorney with good standing.
- Federal admission (EDNY, SDNY) is a plus.
- At least 3 years of legal experience appearing in court/on depositions subsequent to bar admission is required
- Experience handling 50 court appearances is required.
- Experience handling 20 depositions, conduct or defend, is strongly preferred.
- The ability to appear regularly is preferred
