Job Opening: Linear Line Operator
Location: 14702 Karcher Road Caldwell, Idaho 83607
Schedule: 10-Hour Shifts | Full-Time
Pay Rate: $20 – $30 per hour (based on experience)
About the Role
ZoRoCo Packaging is seeking a highly motivated and mechanically skilled Linear Line Operator to join our technically advanced robotic operations team. This position is critical in ensuring the smooth setup, operation, and optimization of our linear cookie production line. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain robotic systems on the linear production line
- Lead and train a team of technicians on the upper linear line, fostering development and accountability
- Conduct room environment analysis, including humidity levels, to optimize cookie production outcomes
- Analyze and interpret data and documentation to support real-time decision making (no paperwork completion required, but understanding is essential)
- Have electrical safety and electrical knowledge
- Document learnings and insights from running and improving the line
- Oversee daily setup and teardown operations with your team
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) – Required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with robotic or automated production equipment
- Solid understanding of electrical safety principles
- Proven leadership ability with experience training others in a production setting
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Positive attitude, work ethic, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work 6 or more consecutive days including overtime, any shift, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Capable of lifting 55 pounds unassisted.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position will support the learning and development of their relief linear line operators (2)
Education and/or Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships is a plus.
- Attention to detail.
- At least one continuous year of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment is required.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
