Compensation
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is$78,200.00 to$130,400.00.

Position Details
The Senior Analyst, Category Pricing, is responsible for supporting the implementation of product pricing. This position collects and analyzes the necessary quantity of high-quality inputs to support pricing decisions, evaluates potential pricing scenarios and outcomes, and summarizes key considerations to support final pricing recommendations.
You Will
- Implement and maintain product pricing for an assigned segment of the Grainger Product Assortment.
- Collaborate with business partners including Merchandising, Supplier Management, Cross Reference Services, Marketing and others to collect and maintain the needed amount of high-quality inputs to price the assortment.
- Perform quantitative analysis to develop, assess, and recommend effective pricing scenarios.
- Monitor the Industrial/MRO market environment and identify macro trends that would indicate the need for a pricing action.
You Have
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in finance, business, or economics preferred
- 3 years in data analysis including analytical experience using Excel, Teradata, SQL required
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage business acumen to draw insights from large data
- Effective execution of work independently and collaboratively in dynamic, analytics-driven, multi-channel work environments
- Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, detail orientation, and business acumen
- High-level knowledge of ecommerce business and the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) industry and industrial products a strong plus
