We’re looking for a motivated Website Development Intern with a strong interest in WordPress to support the development, optimization, and maintenance of websites. This internship is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience building real websites, learning best practices, and working closely with a small, fast-moving team.
You’ll gain practical experience in WordPress development, site performance, UX, and basic front-end customization while contributing to live projects.
- Assist in building and updating WordPress websites
- Customize themes using HTML, CSS, and basic PHP
- Install, configure, and manage WordPress plugins
- Help optimize site speed, performance, and SEO basics
- Ensure websites are responsive and mobile-friendly
- Troubleshoot bugs, layout issues, and plugin conflicts
- Support content updates and site maintenance
- Collaborate on design and functionality improvements
- Familiarity with WordPress (themes, plugins, admin dashboard)
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
- Understanding of how websites work (hosting, domains, page builders, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and communicating remotely
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, Divi, etc.)
