Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electronic and electrical systems. Your expertise will ensure the optimal performance of electronic equipment, supporting both field service operations and in-house maintenance. Responsibilities

  • Utilize diagnostic tools and electrical schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues with electronic and electrical systems efficiently.
  • Perform electrical diagnostics on AC/DC electrical systems, identifying faults using multimeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment.
  • Conduct field service visits to install, repair, or maintain electronic equipment at various customer sites.
  • Use hand tools and soldering equipment to repair or replace components on circuit boards and wiring assemblies.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting documents to guide repairs and maintenance.
  • Test electronic equipment for proper operation following repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, and diagnostic findings for quality assurance and future reference.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an electronics technician or service technician with a strong background in electrical troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Hands-on experience with soldering, electrical soldering techniques, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and electronic equipment testing procedures.
  • Ability to perform maintenance on computer hardware and networked electronic systems.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to electronic device assembly or repair is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical clients.
  • Familiarity with engineering troubleshooting methods and electronic system troubleshooting processes.
  • Valid experience working with electrical blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and equipment repair in diverse environments.
