Construction Inspector

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Inspector to oversee and ensure the quality and safety of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction site management, quality control, and inspection processes. This role involves evaluating construction activities, verifying compliance with blueprints and schematics, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and contractual specifications. The Construction Inspector will play a vital role in maintaining project integrity from initial planning through completion, with a focus on pipeline projects and complex construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough quality inspections on construction sites to verify compliance with project specifications, blueprints, schematics, and safety standards.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to contracts, plans, and regulatory requirements.
• Collect and analyze data related to construction progress, quality metrics, and safety performance.
• Review construction documents, including blueprints and schematics, to understand project scope and technical requirements.
• Perform site assessments to identify potential issues or deviations from approved plans; document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with construction management teams to resolve issues related to quality control and site safety.
• Ensure proper implementation of construction management practices and adherence to project timelines.
• Assist in the development of inspection reports, documentation, and compliance records for project audits.
• Support the enforcement of safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections on-site.
• Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and best practices related to construction inspection.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction inspection or quality control within large-scale projects, preferably involving pipelines or infrastructure development.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site management, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation.
• Familiarity with construction management principles and contract administration.
• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed analysis skills related to data collection and inspection outcomes.
• Hands-on experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.40 - $28.18 per hour
