Job Overview
Join our team at Zoombro Lawn Care to help us mow and maintain yards weekly. The job is predominantly mowing/clean up (edging, blowing) with the occasional landscape jobs, snow removal, etc. We operate Monday through Friday, approximately 8 hour days depending on efficiency with the possibility of weekends.
Responsibilities
- Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to maintain lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas with precision and care
- Occasional landscape jobs including pruning, shrubbery trimming and laying mulch/rock
- Conduct groundskeeping duties such as leaf removal in the fall and salting and snow plowing during winter months
- Identify various plants, trees, and pests; apply pesticides responsibly following safety protocols when necessary
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to all safety protocols during equipment operation and outdoor work activities
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, gardening, and hardscape upkeep
- Experience handling hand tools, power tools, and groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Ability to drive truck and trailer safely, preferred but not required
- Clean driving record
- Able to pass drug test
