Overview
GYM TV, powered by Zoom Media, is the world’s leading provider of customized digital media networks and digital signage for commercial fitness.
We operate more than 3,000 private media networks and entertain more than 80 million monthly viewers.
Our Product Development Department is looking for a front-end–focused developer with solid fundamentals who wants to grow into a mid-level role. Most of the work involves React-based UI for:
- MyGymTV (US & UK): gym-facing content management, advertiser order tracking, and an admin interface
- ZoomDashboard: internal portal for our sales team
- Additional internal tools that support GymTV operations
You’ll handle smaller tasks independently, ask good questions, and collaborate with front and backend developers when tasks require clarification.
Primary Responsibilities
- Build and update React components and features across MyGymTV, ZoomDashboard, and other internal tools
- Use Redux Toolkit and React Context for state management
- Implement responsive layouts using Bootstrap, Material UI, and SCSS
- Integrate REST API data into UI workflows
- Maintain consistent UI patterns and component behavior
- Debug UI issues, including those that come from API data
- Contribute to documentation, planning, and team discussions
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience building front-end applications
- Strong with React and modern JavaScript
- Experience with Redux Toolkit, React Context, or similar state management approaches
- Comfortable building responsive layouts and working with component libraries
- Basic SQL to create and alter stored procedures
- Strong debugging instincts
- Able to take ownership of smaller tasks and collaborate effectively on larger features
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with .NET Core or ASP.NET MVC
- Experience with build tools such as Webpack or Vite
- Comfort with Git-based source control (CLI, Sourcetree, VS tooling, etc.)
- Comfort working within Microsoft ecosystems (Visual Studio, VS Code, SSMS, Teams, Outlook, OneNote, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
