Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Utilize dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Perform tasks such as taking X-rays, preparing materials, and managing patient records using EMR systems.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain equipment and instruments through proper sterilization techniques.
- Communicate with patients in both English and Spanish to enhance patient experience.
