Bilingual English / Spanish Customer Service and Sales Representative
We are seeking a Representative to join our growing team! As an CS Representative, you’ll work with prospective students applying to and enrolling in intitutions School’s programs and oversee overall enrollment success for your students. You’ll be the primary contact, the face of the school, to our prospective students as they navigate our community and our admissions process and get to know the organization.
The CS Representative will:
• Manage the student enrollment process from application to day 1 of class, including:
• Conducting interviews, making admissions decisions, collecting a deposit
• Guiding students through onboarding by ensuring prework, fpayment, and enrollment agreement requirements are met by the enrollment deadline
• Be the expert on School’s course offerings; answer any questions from prospective students via phone, chat, email, webinar, and on-campus.
• Track and report all admissions and enrollment data.
• Continue to develop processes and systems to improve the admissions and enrollment process.
• Keep your students motivated to complete all their tasks by one week before class starts and decide who needs more time.
• Staff weekly enrollment-related events, including information sessions and Q&As with incoming students. Partner with the educational team to conduct study sessions. Weeknights and weekends are required according to the assigned schedule.
• Staff regular admissions-related events, including information sessions and campus tours. Weeknights and weekends are required.
• Work cross-functionally with our community management, education, career services, and marketing teams to provide a seamless student experience.
The Admissions Representative is:
• Comfortable making 60 calls a day and spending 2-3 hours a day actively speaking with prospective students.
• An expert communicator. You are patient, personable, and can communicate with various people, from spinal surgeons to stay-at-home parents. You are comfortable addressing large groups of people.
• Highly organized and can manage time effectively. You know how to create a schedule and adapt when things deviate from the schedule.
• A quick thinker who can switch contexts easily.
• A fast learner who can retain a lot of information. You are excited to become an expert on all things related to Flatiron School and to share it with others.
• Experienced using CRMs and databases.
• Data-savvy; able to spot patterns in student data and make recommendations based on it.
• Experienced managing a sales or recruitment funnel and excited to be managed to quantitative goals, including activity targets, matriculation targets, and applicant-to-enrollment conversion rates.
• Consistently drives to exceed assigned targets, conversions, and activity KPIs.
Education / Experience
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Minimum two years sales experience, with preference given to candidates with academic admissions or telesales experience
