Role Description The Project Manager with CAD at Zone Industries is a full-time, on-site role based in Spring, TX, responsible for managing pump and motor projects from initial scope through delivery and closeout. This role coordinates project schedules, materials, and resources, ensuring that bids, orders, fabrication, and installation activities align with customer requirements and internal standards. Day-to-day work includes developing and reviewing CAD drawings, project plans, and technical documentation; tracking project milestones; and communicating status updates to internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers. The Project Manager with CAD will work closely with engineering, sales, operations, and the shop team to resolve technical issues, manage changes, and ensure on-time, on-budget completion. The role also involves supporting quality inspections, documentation control, and continuous improvement of project and drafting processes.

Qualifications
- Project leadership abilities including Project Management for industrial equipment or engineered-to-order systems.
- Experience with Expeditor and Expediting activities to track orders, follow up with vendors, and maintain schedule commitments.
- Knowledge of Inspection practices to support quality checks, documentation review, and compliance with specifications.
- Logistics Management skills to coordinate shipments, deliveries, and on-site requirements with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) for creating, modifying, and reviewing mechanical or layout drawings.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in pumps, motors, rotating equipment, or related industrial environments is preferred.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to work on site in Spring, TX, collaborate across functions, and interact professionally with customers
