Location: Zone Health and Fitness West
Position: Facilities Associate
Pay: $15.00–$16.00 per hour
Primary Shift: 1:00 PM–7:00 PM
Schedule: Flexible availability required

Zone Health and Fitness is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and experienced Facilities Associate to join our team at our West location.

Our Facilities team plays an important role in the overall member experience. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming fitness environment and understands that attention to detail matters.

Zone Health and Fitness is a 24-hour facility, so applicants must understand the needs of a facility that operates around the clock. The primary shift for this position will be 1:00 PM–7:00 PM, but flexibility in scheduling is required, including the ability to work additional or different hours when needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the gym, primary all floor equipment (regularly clean and sanitize fitness equipment and high-touch areas) gym floors, locker rooms, restrooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned spaces.
• Keep floors clean and free of dust, trash, and debris throughout the shift.
• Ensure weights, plates, dumbbells, and other equipment are properly organized and re-racked.
• Empty trash and maintain clean and properly stocked restrooms and locker rooms.
• Perform routine facility checks and identify cleanliness, maintenance, or safety concerns.
• Respond promptly to spills, member concerns, and facility needs.
• Assist with basic facility and maintenance tasks within the scope of the position.
• Help monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is running low.
• Work closely with other departments to maintain Zone's standards throughout the facility.
• Help create a positive and welcoming environment for our members and staff.

Qualifications & Expectations

Previous facilities, janitorial, maintenance, commercial cleaning, or similar experience is required.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work independently without needing constant direction. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, take initiative when they see something that needs to be addressed, and be comfortable working in an active gym environment.

The position requires the ability to remain physically active throughout the shift, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, cleaning, and performing routine facility duties.

Flexible availability is required. Although the regular shift is expected to be 1:00 PM–7:00 PM, candidates should be willing to adjust their schedule when necessary to support the needs of our 24-hour facility.
