We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fine dining environment. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations for food and beverage selections, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience.
- Accurately enter orders into the cash register or point-of-sale system, ensuring all details are correct.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, adhering to fine dining standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any special requests from guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or as a Server in a fine dining setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
