Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated, sales-driven CEO to lead Zola into its next stage of growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on selling, building, and scaling a company from the ground up. The ideal candidate is not only a strategic thinker but also someone who is eager to be in the trenches—closing deals, refining the product-market fit, and building a high-performance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive company revenue through direct sales and business development efforts
- Lead outbound and inbound sales strategies, including personally closing high-value deals
- Build and refine Zola’s go-to-market strategy
- Recruit, train, and lead a results-driven sales and operations team
- Establish a strong company culture centered on performance, accountability, and growth
- Work closely with product and marketing to align customer needs with product development
- Develop strategic partnerships to accelerate growth
- Track key performance metrics and continuously optimize for scale
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or startup leadership
- Strong closing ability with a track record of generating revenue

- Experience in summer sales programs is a strong plus
