Zoes House is a well respected grass roots non-profit organization that rescues animals from breeders, shelters and owners. We also provide our community with lower cost options for vetting and surgery!
We are seeking an experienced veterinarian—whether your background is in private practice, shelter medicine, or high-volume surgery—who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of animals. If you are compassionate, motivated, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to helping us save pets one at a time, we'd love to hear from you.
Our ideal candidate is confident and experienced in performing:
- Canine and feline spay and neuter procedures
- Limb amputations
- Enucleations
- Entropion repairs
- Hernia repairs
- Pyometra surgeries
- Dental procedures, including extractions

Our modern, well-equipped clinic features in-house digital radiography, comprehensive dental equipment with dental radiography, in-house laboratory diagnostics, and a LigaSure vessel sealing system to help you provide exceptional patient care.
We offer a competitive salary and discounted veterinary services and products for your pets. As a qualifying nonprofit organization, eligible employees may also qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)—allowing you to pursue meaningful work while working toward student loan forgiveness.
Requirements:
Licensed DVM/VMD in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Have a current or able to get a DEA license
