Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including setting up equipment and materials
- Perform manual labor such as lifting, carrying, and moving building materials and tools
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Maintain cleanliness of the work site by disposing of debris and organizing supplies
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to ensure project specifications are met
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety procedures and guidelines
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are advantageous
