We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-Time Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed during service and food handling
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables promptly for new guests
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS systems
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, special requests, and resolving concerns promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth operations during service hours
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
- Experience in customer service roles that require strong communication and guest interaction skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Prior experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles, or hospitality positions will be advantageous
