Job Title: Sterile Processing Production Coordinator (CRCST/CSPDT) – Contract
Location: Elmhurst, IL (Local Candidates Only)
Schedule: 40 hours/week (5 days, 8-hour shifts)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Production Coordinator to oversee loaner and consignment tray operations while supporting daily sterile processing workflow. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong coordination and communication skills in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Loaner & Consignment Tray Coordination

• Manage all incoming and outgoing loaner and consignment trays
• Verify accuracy, completeness, and integrity of tray contents pre- and post-sterilization
• Track tray movement through the full sterilization lifecycle
• Coordinate with vendors, clinical teams, and internal SPD staff

Production & Workflow Oversight

• Oversee daily production flow and prioritize workload
• Identify and resolve delays, discrepancies, and bottlenecks
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain operational efficiency
• Provide guidance to production technicians as needed

Communication & Relationship Management

• Act as liaison between vendors, hospitals, and internal teams
• Maintain clear communication on tray status, schedules, and needs
• Represent the organization professionally in all interactions

Data & Reporting

• Maintain accurate documentation and tracking in system tools
• Generate reports on volume, trends, and performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and documentation standards

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Sterile Processing experience (loaner/consignment experience required)
• CRCST or CSPDT certification (required)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with instrument tracking systems and reporting tools
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $35.55 per hour
