Quality Specialist

We are looking for a hands-on Quality Specialist to inspect parts and assemblies and make sure they meet engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and customer quality requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Perform dimensional inspections on parts at different stages — incoming, in-process, First Article (FAIR), and final inspection.
• Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment and run inspection programs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, tolerances, and specifications to determine whether parts meet requirements.
• Use inspection equipment such as CMM, Keyence, optical comparators, and gages.
• Review and validate CMM programs to ensure the correct setup and inspection results.
• Perform visual inspections using inspection standards, IOS documentation, and PowerPoint/source files.
• Complete inspection documentation, routers, inspection/test reports, and turnback forms accurately.
• Enter inspection and part information into SAP.
• Support First Article Inspections (FAIRs) and other quality activities.
• Work with Engineering, Operations, and other teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities.
• Follow all company Quality, EHS, and safety procedures.
• Work overtime or extended hours when business needs require it.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with CMM inspection.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Experience with dimensional/precision inspection.
• Experience using inspection equipment such as Keyence or optical comparators is preferred.
• Experience with FAIR/First Article Inspection is a plus.
• Experience creating, modifying, or validating CMM programs is a plus.
• Experience with SAP and quality documentation is preferred.
• Manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or other precision-industry experience is helpful.
