Summary :Lays out, fits, and welds fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames and building and weld parts by performing the following duties.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesKnowledge of and ability to operate MIG, TIG, and Stick welders.Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment.Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.Positions and clamps workpieces together or assembles them in jig or fixture.Conduct preventative maintenance on weld equipment.Keep work areas clean, maintain 5S and safety.Other duties and projects may be assigned.Education And/Or Experience:High school diploma or general education diploma (GED);Minimum of 3 years related experience and/or trainingExperience in Blue Print Reading; MIG Welding.Knowledge of overhead cranes, Hi-lo, Pallet Jack and other related equipment required to perform the job functionKnowledge of safety precautions in the Manufacturing environment.Company DescriptionZobility (RGBSI), is dedicated to providing the highest quality of services to our clients and employees.
