Job Title: CNC Field Service Engineer
Locations: Grand Rapids| Indianapolis| Cincinnati| Chicago (4 different locations with 50 % travel)
Job Summary:
Provide on-site and remote support for installation, maintenance, and repair of CNC machine tools while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of CNC machines
- Support customers via phone and on-site visits
- Create and maintain technical documentation and service reports
- Train and assist customer service engineers on new equipment
- Build strong customer relationships and resolve issues effectively
- Collaborate with internal and customer teams
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of CNC electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC ladder logic
- Experience with Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Siemens controls (preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic MS Office proficiency
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
Education:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (preferred)
