Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Asset Management Coordinator to join our Asset Management Program (AMP) team in Chula Vista, CA. In this role, you will support the lease and exchange of major aerospace components, ensuring exceptional service for airline and Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) customers. You will coordinate with internal teams to manage customer requests, asset availability, and transaction processing while supporting critical Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding asset availability, lease requests, exchange transactions, and quotations for major rotable aerospace components.
- Support airlines and MRO facilities across Aerostructures OE aircraft and engine configurations, including urgent Aircraft on Ground (AOG) requirements.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing timely, accurate, and professional support.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Aftermarket Technical Services, Distribution Centers, Licensing, Finance, Pricing, and MRO partners to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Maintain and update customer, asset, and transaction data within Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce.
- Track asset movements, customer requests, and transaction status while ensuring service commitments are met.
- Prepare reports, maintain accurate documentation, and support continuous process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer support or customer service experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to solve customer issues using established processes and systems.
- Proficient with:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the aerospace or aviation industry.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce CRM.
- Ability to create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Knowledge of aerospace aftermarket operations, rotable components, or asset management is a plus.
