Job Description:
Currently we have an immediate need for a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic. We are looking for diesel mechanics with heavy mechanic equipment or agricultural equipment experience including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagnostics and repair.
Requirements/responsibilities:
- Mechanic must have strong trouble shooting abilities on Heavy Equipment will be given preference.
- Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on mobile equipment and crushing plants
- Perform work independently and travel to on-site locations for jobs
- 3 years experience in field work required a plus
- Mechanic has the ability to perform repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of Construction and Forestry
- Should own your own tools
- Hevay Equipment Mechanic has the ability to perform basic computer functions
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
- Some level of Service Technician certification preferred not required
- Valid driver's license is required; Commercial Driver License (CDL) preferred
- The successful candidate will submit to a background check, MVR and drug screen.
