Job Summary

Responsible for processing hotel's daily guest room laundry operations. Including sorting, loading, transferring, folding, and stocking of linens. Responsibilities also include general public area cleaning during laundry run cycle times and other down times.

Responsibilities:

• Sorts all linens and treats stains.
• Loads soiled linens into washers; selects appropriate machine cycle and/or adds specified cleaning agents. Transferring to dryers when wash cycle is complete.
• Sorts, folds or hangs clean, dried linens.
• Completes general public area cleaning daily.
• Strips vacant guest rooms of soiled linens and garbage.
• Maintains the inventory of linens and communicates needs to supervisor.
• Maintains all laundry equipment and informs supervisor as to any maintenance needs.
• Follows all company policies including safety policies and procedures.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Must be able to work quickly.
• Must be able to work well with others.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be able to work standing for 8 hours.
