Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Billing Specialist, based in Middletown, PA. The specialist will be responsible for submitting claims, handling insurance inquiries, processing denials, verifying coverage details for Medicare and other insurance providers. Additional duties include accurate recordkeeping, and aiding in account reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Terminology and ICD-10 coding
- Experience managing denials and insurance claims
- Understanding of Medicare policies and other insurance guidelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Previous experience in medical billing or a related role preferred
- ability to learn mutliple EMR systems and adapt to multiple clients workflows and responsibilities.
