Duties
- Greet prospective tenants warmly, providing detailed property tours and answering all questions with clarity and confidence.
- Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease signing, including data entry into property management software such as Yardi or OneSite.
- Promote available units , highlighting features that meet individual tenant needs while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws.
- Prepare and review lease agreements, contracts, and legal documents accurately, maintaining meticulous filing and record-keeping.
- Conduct thorough background checks, including credit reports and rental history, utilizing property management systems like Yardi or OneSite.
- Handle tenant inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professional etiquette, resolving conflicts effectively and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Assist with property maintenance coordination and facilities management to ensure units are move-in ready and well-maintained.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining compliance documentation related to landlord-tenant law.
- Collaborate with property management team on occupancy goals, marketing strategies, and community engagement initiatives.
Experience
- Demonstrated ability in sales, negotiation, conflict management, to maximize occupancy rates.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette and the ability to build lasting tenant relationships.
- Prior office experience involving data entry, filing, contracts management, and legal administrative tasks is desirable.
- Knowledge of facilities management principles related to property maintenance and tenant safety standards.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
