ZLA Solutions, Inc. is looking for a Low Voltage Technicians for a technology client of ours who is based in the Birmingham, AL area.
Job Description
- Low Voltage Technicians will be tasked with pulling all manner of wire and running electrical conduit in commercial settings.
- All travel-related necessities will be provided if work takes you outside the metro area.
Job Schedule (Travel Provisions)
- Monday-Thursday (4x10s)
- Must be available on Friday if the project requires it
- Evening and weekend work is rare
Job Salary and Travel Provisions
- $18.50/hour for the first 90 days, and $20.00 /hour after that depending on performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely install and terminate category cables (ethernet), coax, fiber, lightning, security and fire system wiring, etc.
- Install conduit in commercial environments
- Some local and regional travel (trave
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Communicate effectively with team members and team leads
- Maintain detailed records and inventory
Job Requirements
- Prior electrical experience is strongly preferred but not required
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools is required
- Heavy lifting is required (must be able to lift 80 pounds)
- Must be comfortable working on ladders and lifts
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check & pre-employment drug screen (NOTE: **A misdemeanor/felony record may not necessarily prevent you from being employed**)
